CONCEPT · EXPERIENTIAL · MOBILE RETAIL
On course. On demand.
A roaming bar that moves hole to hole, so the round never has to stop.
Golf courses are huge, and service on them is static. You either plan your round around the halfway house or you go without. The Goodwood Group's carts are already spot on, properly considered and properly designed, part of the experience rather than an afterthought. That got me thinking about taking the idea a step further.
Instead of players heading back to the halfway house, the halfway house comes to them. A compact mobile setup serving coffee, cold drinks and light food, moving hole to hole. It pulls up while you're waiting on the tee, serves quickly, and heads on. No disruption. Just a better moment in the round.
It keeps play moving, which every course cares about, while adding a reason to spend that didn't exist before. Service becomes part of the round rather than an interruption to it. And it scales. The same thinking suits any course or outdoor venue, and it doesn't have to stop at drinks. A pizza cart for golf events is the same idea with a different fit-out.
Unlike most of the ideas on these pages, this one isn't waiting on a build. Yarrh works with a production partner who makes vehicles like this for a living.
I used Goodwood as the inspiration because their carts are already so good. If you're building something bold in this space, I'd love to help bring it to life.
